Mission & Discipleship 53 – February 2011

Packed full of events, resources, websites to explore plus information that may be of interest to rural churches, that’s the Church of Scotland’s newsletter from its Mission & Discipleship Council. The edition for February 2011 has details of a series of roadshows run by Christian Aid on the theme of “Helping People In Poverty Out of Poverty”. There is also information about a seminar being run for carers of people with Dementia and another on “Spirituality Through the Eyes of Children”. Looking further ahead there is news of an Easter Event called “Roll Away the Stone” taking place on 22 May and the National Youth Assembly in September, with the theme “Love Life”. And just what is the Scottish Bible Society doing with a refurbished 1967 VW Camper Van? Or, for that matter, what is “Samosa Sunday”?
