Rainbow Service

Rainbow Service 2017Cumbernauld Old Parish Church will be holding our annual Rainbow Service on Sunday 17th December at 6.30pm in the Parish Church.

This is a service for people who have been bereaved and want a quiet time to reflect and remember. During this service we will create our ‘Rainbow Tree’ for 2017 when people will be invited to tie a coloured ribbon to the tree in memory of a loved one. The tree and the ribbons will remain in church until Easter 2018.

Gift Services & Nativity Play

The annual Gift Services at Cumbernauld Old Parish Church will be on Sunday 17th December at 10.15am and 11.45am. We invite those attending to bring a gift for all age ranges (adults as well as children), wrapped or unwrapped, and these will be passed on to our friends at Cornerstone for distribution to people in need in our community.

We’d like to use this opportunity to thank the congregation for its amazing generosity over the past few years.

The 10.15am worship service on Sunday 17th will also incorporate the J Team Nativity Play. We know the young people in our church have been practising hard and we look forward to their interpretation of the Nativity Story on Sunday.
