Cumbernauld Old Parish Church invites one and all to our Advent and Christmas worship services over the next few weeks.
On Sunday 15th December at 11am we have our Nativity and Gift Service and invite those attending to bring a Christmas gift for distribution through our local food bank (more details here). Then at 3pm we hold our annual Rainbow Service for those who have been bereaved and wish to remember someone they have loved.
Morning Worship at 11am on Sunday 22nd December will be followed by ‘Follow the Star‘, an interactive walk around the Village on Christmas Eve where you will get to meet Mary and Joseph, the baby Jesus, Noddy the Donkey, the Angel, the Innkeeper, Shepherds and others before joining us for carol-singing around the Village Christmas Tree. Later at 11.30pm we hold our annual Watchnight Service to welcome Christmas Day at the Parish Church.
On Christmas Day at 10.30am there will be a short, informal, all-age service and then on Sunday 29th December at 11.00am we will have a service of Lessons and Carols. Both of these services will be in the Parish Church.
