Christmas Cards 2020

The Fundraising Team at Cumbernauld Old Parish Church are exploring the possibility of creating our own bespoke Christmas cards for sale, and therefore raising much-needed funds for the Church. We have found a company online which can design and print bespoke charity Christmas cards at a reasonable cost.

However, before we commit to spending money on ordering these Christmas cards, we would like to establish whether there is sufficient support for this venture to ensure that we would actually make a profit, i.e. raise some funds, from doing so. Please, therefore, let us know if you would be willing to purchase such cards if they were available.

The cards we are considering would have a front cover with a pretty picture of our church, probably a snowy, wintry scene. We already have a number of photos from which we could choose. The cards would come in packs of ten. The smaller cards are 120mm square and would cost £3 per pack of ten. There are larger cards, 150mm square, and would cost £3.50 per pack of ten. Please note, though, that to make a worthwhile profit we would have to sell 100 packs. So please give this your fullest consideration.

Once we have received everyone’s replies we will be able to gauge whether this would be a worthwhile venture. We are limited in the number of people we can contact directly, so if you have any friends or family who may also wish to purchase Christmas cards from us, please have a chat with them and include that in your reply.
