Cumbernauld Old Parish Church encourages everyone to shop locally wherever possible. Especially in the current circumstances, local shops and businesses need our custom, so let’s do all we can to support those in our parish and community whenever we can.
However, we appreciate that it’s not always possible to get everything we need locally and online shopping is a reality for many people.
If you do any shopping online, there are two ways in which you can help Cumbernauld Old while doing so. One is through Give As You Live, which we have mentioned before and has already proved to be a good way of raising funds for the church. Click on the link and from there you can access a large range of shops and retailers. With each purchase made in this way, a small percentage of what you spend is donated to the Church at no extra cost to you.
If you shop on Amazon, however, there is a new scheme called Amazon Smile that works in much the same way. For each purchase you make this way on Amazon, a percentage is donated by them to our church. Here’s how it works:
