Cumbernauld Old Parish Church invites you to worship with us online on Sunday 4th July. Worship is led by our minister, Rev Elspeth McKay and is available from the video link below.
As with all our worship services, this Sunday’s service is available to all, so please feel free to share with any family or friends. Also, while you can watch our service at any time, why not watch around 11am on Sunday morning which is our usual time of worship when we are able to be together in the church building and which many of us still keep as our worship time.
Pastoral Cover in July
Rev Elspeth McKay will be on annual leave from Monday 5th July until Sunday 1st August.
Our Sunday worship services, online and in person on the 25th July, will be led by Ivar Struthers, an elder here and a Reader with the Church of Scotland.
If anyone is in need of urgent pastoral support and assistance during the minister’s absence, please call the manse telephone number 01236 728853 where there will be a message on the answering machine with details of whom to contact if necessary.
Glasgow Presbytery
On Wednesday 30th June the Church of Scotland congregations in Cumbernauld, including Cumbernauld Old, transferred from the Presbytery of Falkirk to the Presbytery of Glasgow.
As we say our farewells to Falkirk we wish them every success and God’s blessing for the future, and as we join Glasgow we look forward to this new venture in God’s plan and hope it will be a fruitful time for us all.
