Smart Savers

Cumbernauld Old Parish Church has recently relaunched our ‘Smart Savers’ project.

Everyone is invited to help themselves to a tube of Smarties from the Church vestibule, enjoy the sweeties and then return the tube filled with 20p coins.

Members have continued to hand in tubes all through lockdown and your donations over the last few years have raised hundreds of pounds for church funds. The sweeties have been good too! Thank-you for your continuing support.

Thank-You!

The fundraising team at Cumbernauld Old would like to thank everyone who helped us to raise a grand total of £868.60 for Church funds from sales of Easter cards and crafts.

Thank-you, too, to everyone who brought along their collected small change to worship on Sunday 8th May – our ‘coffee jars’ collection raised a magnificent £337.27 for the DEC Ukraine Appeal. In addition, our wee table with crafts and pennants for Ukraine has so far raised another £117 and more items have recently become available. Thanks to all the knitters in the congregation and the Craft Group for their beautiful work.

Your generosity really is inspiring!
