Our worship service at Cumbernauld Old on Sunday 19th June will be in the Parish Church at 11.00am and will be led this week by Ivar Struthers, one of our elders and a Reader with the Church of Scotland. All welcome!
The service will also be live-streamed on our Facebook page at 11am on Sunday if you can’t be with us in person.
Post-worship teas and coffees
Now that restrictions have been relaxed once again, the Kirk Session has agreed that we should reintroduce serving tea and coffee in the Session House after the service. So many people have missed the opportunity for a cuppa and catch up, so it will be good to see normal service resumed. If you are willing to be part of a tea rota in order than we can get this up-and-running, please speak to Elizabeth Snedden any Sunday. Hopefully your turn would only come around every five or six weeks – the more volunteers the better!
Singing Group
We are delighted with the level of interest being shown in our proposed Singing Group. There is no better way of cheering yourself up and lifting your spirits than joining with others to sing. You don’t need to have any musical experience, have a strong voice, be able to read music. It’s just the chance to meet together and have fun singing a variety of popular songs. A lot of details have still to be sorted out, but in the meantime if you are interested please add your name to the poster in the church vestibule or drop us a line here or on our Facebook page.
