Team Ministry Information

As you may know, Fiona Crawford and James Gemmell have been appointed as our Team Ministers over the next few months. Fiona started with us on 1st September and James Gemmell will join her on 1st November. We’ve posted a wee Q&A here to give some insight into their roles. We also wish them God’s blessing as they seek to lead us into the next chapter of our church’s life.

In terms of our Mission Plan, there has been quite a lot of work going on over the past few months and the congregation Old was recently given an update following our discussions with our local partner churches. You can read that update here

Harvest Appeal 2022

As we have done in previous years Cumbernauld Old will be supporting the work of Bethlehem House of Bread at Cornerstone House through our special Harvest Appeal.
At our Harvest Thanksgiving service on Sunday 2nd October we are inviting donations from those who are able to help. If you can, please help by bringing along your donations of any of the following: meals (eg meatballs, macaroni, spaghetti Bolognese, hotdogs, pasta sauce etc), soup (tins or packets), tinned spaghetti, beans, peas & other vegetables, puddings (tins or packets of fruit, rice or custard), jam, biscuits, UHT milk.

The above are simply suggestions. Anything else you think would help will be greatly appreciated. Cumbernauld Old and our wider community have supported the food bank for a number of years with amazing generosity. Never has our support been more needed or appreciated. Thank you.
