Service of Ordination

Fiona Crawford and James Gemmell, Team Ministers at Cumbernauld Old and Kildrum / St Mungo’s, are being ordained as Ministers of Word and Sacrament on Thursday 3rd November 2022 and The Presbytery of Glasgow warmly invites all members of the congregation at Cumbernauld Old to attend a special service which will take place in St Mungo’s Parish Church, Cumbernauld at 7pm on Thursday 3rd November.

We would strongly encourage everyone in the congregation, if able, to attend this very special service which is not only a significant occasion for Fiona and James and their families and friends, but also a significant occasion for everyone at Cumbernauld Old and Kildrum / St Mungo’s. Harvest Appeal 2022

On Sunday 2nd October we held our annual Harvest Appeal and once again the congregation and local community responded with wonderful generosity. The Harvest table was laden with gifts (see below).
All donations were passed to Bethlehem House of Bread at Cornerstone to distribute locally. These gifts will help those who are struggling in these very difficult times. It’s much more than the actual donations though. It’s about giving hope, a precious gift which can also sustain folk when they know they matter within our community. Thank you for all your support.
