Used Stamps Appeal

Once again we are inviting you to support the Church of Scotland World Mission Used Stamp Appeal. There’s a collection box for used postage stamps in the church vestibule and that will remain in place until the end of January.
The aim of this year’s Appeal is to raise enough funds to support a pastor in our partner church the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon (NESSL) for a full year’s salary. The economic crisis in the country has struck hard and the Synod is struggling to pay salaries for pastors which range between £100 to £150 per month.
Please contact Ivar Struthers or visit the Church of Scotland website if you would like to find out more.

The next meeting of the Book Group will take place on Tuesday 10th January at 2pm in the Parish Church.
