Welcome to the worship service from Cumbernauld Old Parish Church for Easter Day.
We are doing something different with the hymns, two of which are in four-part harmony with organ accompaniment, but with only two of us singing / playing. The wonders of technology!
The intimations at the beginning of the service give details about our plans to re-open the Church for worship starting on Sunday 25th April. We will continue to provide worship online for those who are unable to join us in person. There is also information for those who have been saving their small change in ‘coffee jars’ or wherever; we’ll collect them soon. And there’s also an update about our Easter fund-raiser. More about that below. But, first, let us worship God together…
All our worship services are available to everyone and all are welcome, so please feel free to share with any family or friends. Please also check out our Facebook page for all the latest news from Cumbernauld Old.
Thank-you so much to everyone who bought one of our knitted novelties: wee bobble hats in the shape of bees, ducks, chickens, sheep, ladybirds, etc. and each containing a small chocolate Easter egg.
We are thrilled to report that just short of £600 was raised for church funds from your generosity and the support of all our knitters and fund-raisers. A marvellous effort by all and greatly appreciated.
Please join Cumbernauld Old Parish Church this Easter as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our worship service can be seen at https://vimeo.com/406499275.
This worship service is available to all, so please feel free to share with any family or friends who may wish to join us. Please also check out our Facebook page for all the latest news from Cumbernauld Old.
