You are warmly invited to join us for worship on Sunday 18th September at 11.00am in Cumbernauld Old Parish Church. Our worship will be led this week by Fiona Crawford, our new Team Minister (see below). Everyone is welcome and we hope you can join us!
The service will also be live-streamed on our Facebook page at 11am on Sunday if you can’t be with us in person.
Team Ministry Information
As you may know, Fiona Crawford and James Gemmell have been appointed as our Team Ministers over the next few months. Fiona started with us on 1st September and James Gemmell will join her on 1st November. We’ve posted a wee Q&A here to give some insight into their roles. We also wish them God’s blessing as they seek to lead us into the next chapter of our church’s life.
In terms of our Mission Plan, there has been quite a lot of work going on over the past few months and the congregation Old was recently given an update following our discussions with our local partner churches. You can read that update here.
Doors Open Days
St Mungo’s Parish Church is participating in the North Lanarkshire Open Doors weekend on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September.
If you’re in the Cumbernauld Town Centre area and would like to see the church, please come along.
The church and halls will be open on Saturday 17th from 10.00 -14.00 and then on Sunday 18th from 11.00 -14.00.
Dandelion Trust Harvest Festival
This event was due to take place last Saturday 10th September, but was postponed following the sad news of the death of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth. We are pleased to advise that it has now been rescheduled for Saturday 1st October, starting at 11am in the Manse grounds in Cumbernauld Village.
