Worship at Cumbernauld Old

On Monday the Kirk Session of Cumbernauld Old Parish Church agreed to return to in-person worship every Sunday. Therefore, this coming Sunday, 29th August, will be the last recorded service and the last available by telephone. Worship in the Parish Church will take place at 11am and all are invited.

From Sunday 5th September, not only can you attend in person in the Church without booking, but the service will be live-streamed from the Church at 11am. You should be able to view the live-stream on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/cumbernauldold. You do not need to have a Facebook account to access this. The live-stream will also be used on the 29th, however, please bear with us as we will be testing it out that day. You will have to watch at 11am along with the in-person congregation as it will not be recorded.

The minister also intimated that she will be leaving Cumbernauld Old at the end of October as she has received a call from Paisley Abbey.

Elspeth said, “We will all very much miss our many friends in Cumbernauld, but I am reassured that you aren’t that far away down the M8!”

All of us here wish Elspeth, David and William the very best for the future and will do so formally when they leave us towards the end of October.
